Like many other corporate success stories, Xircon was born from the identification of a market gap that was getting progressively wider.  With more and more leading players in the UK construction industry concentrating exclusively on major capital projects such as PFI and PPP work, who could private and public sector clients turn to for the necessary experience and expertise to deliver superior quality and value in building projects under the £50m mark?

That’s why we set up Xircon, bringing some of the industry’s most highly regarded and respected people together in a multi-faceted, multi-talented new company committed to the vision of creating the most enjoyable and profitable construction company in the UK – a company identified by the traditional values of integrity, openness and co-operative relationships that clients, employees, suppliers and others partners throughout the industry will always want to work with.

So how are we doing?  In our first year, we won £27m of projects and are already comfortably ahead of schedule to deliver turnover of around £45m by year three.  This success is reflected in rapidly growing staff numbers at every level, now averaging 1 new employee every single week.

But no matter how our operation may expand in the years ahead in line with our ambition to add Civil Engineering and Facilities Management as core offerings to clients on a UK-wide basis, we will never lose sight of the passion for building excellence that brought us here and continues to drive everything we do at Xircon.
