We have developed a bespoke 'Xircon Sustainability Strategy', which considers our economic, social and environmental impacts. This acts as a catalyst for action, focussing on long-term solutions, targeting prevention now, rather than cure later. The headline principles and ethos centre around 4 specific business areas:

Sustainable Communities – Through respecting and understanding our community stakeholders, our Project Leaders attain solutions that maximise opportunities for positive contributions to the community way of life. At Xircon all our projects enroll into the Considerate Constructors scheme, where we are consistently scoring well above the industry average.

Sustainable Consumption and Production – We have adopted an “achieving more with less” philosophy. Through focusing on sustainable procurement and developing strong relations with our supply chain partners, we are utilising our resources more efficiently and have enhanced our product and services delivery.

Natural Resource Protection and Environmental Enhancement – At Xircon all our Projects undertake a meticulous 'aspects and impacts assessment' to ensure there is no adverse effect on the earths land, water and air cycles by our business activities.

Climate Change and Energy – Through early consultation, comprehensive planning and sound knowledge of sustainable design solutions, we are delivering profound changes in the generation and use energy. We have currently partnered with the Carbon Trust, with an intention of becoming a carbon neutral organisation by 2009.
