John Casey Operations Director

John has spent thirty plus years working for other major contractors. His knowledge and experience developed over 28 years with Balfour Beatty and then 5 years with Mowlem have given him a great breadth of experience in all sectors of building. In his role as Operations Director, John is involved from the first contact with projects. Johns team include the estimators, design build managers and the front end team that price, value engineer, and value manage schemes to bring them into range of clients aspirations. His contacts with the supply chain and throughout the Scottish Construction Industry are second to none which enables John to put together the right teams to make projects work.
John has responsibility for Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental Management and so coordinates the efforts of internal and external auditors and managers and the effective use of Xircon’s processes and procedures. He manages the use of the Integrated Management System throughout the organization indeed he was the leader of the team that developed it.
Outwith work John is heavily involved with the Chartered Institute of Building and is Junior Vice Chair of the Institution in Scotland.
